NORTHPORT – Florence Jean Lewis, 95, of Northport, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at home.

Florence was born June 2, 1930 in Battle Creek the daughter of Frank and Joann (Bendykowski) Kobe. On June 18, 1948 in Paw Paw, MI she married Basil Frederick Lewis who preceded her in death on April 4, 2018.

Florence was a fun-loving person. She loved her garden and caring for her lawn. She enjoyed gathering with friends, and family for coffee and celebrations. Florence liked to walk and took great pride in living independently until her death.

Florence is survived by a son, Larry Basil, a daughter, Nancy J. (Daniel) Fowle; four grandchildren, Todd (Jessica) Fowle, Jordan Fowle, Stuart (Erin) Fowle, John Lewis, and five great grandchildren, Nathan, Natalie, Danielle, Eliza and Ryan Fowle.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Basil; and her parents, Frank and Joann Kobe.

Cremation has taken place and private family services have been held.
