Louise E. Belanger
Louise E. Belanger

Louise was born on September 28, 1929, in Cedar, the daughter of Alexander and Anna (Schopieray) Vert. On October 30, 1948, at Holy Rosary Church in Isadore, she married the love of her life, Samuel Joseph Belanger. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and hard work. Sam preceded her in death on August 8, 2016, but their bond and partnership remained a guiding light for the family ever since.
Louise was the heart of every gathering, an avid euchre player who cherished time spent around the table with friends and family. She worked hard her entire life as a housekeeper, taking pride in everything she did and in caring for those around her. She also kept her husband, Sam, in line, a full-time job in itself.
Known for her warmth and hospitality, Louise never let anyone leave her home without something to eat, especially her holiday cookies that family and friends looked forward to every year. She adored her community, her church, and the many visitors who brightened her days. Louise loved spending time with her wonderful nieces and nephews, whose visits always brought her so much joy and laughter.
Louise is survived by her children, Barbara (Robert) Eckerdt, Karen (Mike) Evans, Richard Belanger, and Kathleen (Todd) 1929 ~ 2025
