BINGHAM TOWNSHIP — Linda Lee Dargis Giroux, 79, of Bingham Township passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Munson Medical Center.
Linda was born on March 31, 1946, in Detroit, the daughter ofjohn Cosellin and Gladys Cosellin.
On August 25, 1989, in Waterford, MI she married Dan Giroux, who preceded her in death on January 25, 2013.
Linda was someone who always put others first. She found great joy in making people feel special and went above and beyond for holidays, birthdays, and gatherings of any kind. She loved decorating, whether it was stringing up Christmas lights, trimming the tree, or bringing out her spring and Easter décor. Everything she did had a thoughtful touch.
She was a natural hostess and took pride in preparing large hors d’oeuvres trays for family and friends to enjoy. It made her happy to see others smiling and enjoying themselves. That was what mattered most to her.
Linda had a giving heart and quietly helped those in need, often volunteering her time and energy. She enjoyed playing tennis at the YMCA, cooking homecooked meals, and treating everybody to pizza from Roman Wheel in Suttons Bay. She also loved boating with Dan and spending time out on the Great Lakes.
Linda was a force of nature, defined by a “fierce, fighting spirit” and a profound love for the people and passions that filled her life. A woman of vibrant energy, she approached every day with tenacity, grace, and an infectious enthusiasm.
Loved by many, Linda leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, but her strength and spirit will continue to inspire everyone who knew her. She lived authentically, loved fiercely, and will be deeply missed.
Linda is survived by her children, Michael Dargis Jr., Melissa (Dave) Lasalla, and Jason Dargis; her siblings, Joan Cosellin, Sherrie (Duane) Miller, and Mark (Margarete) Elmore; her significant other, Patrick Loesel; her special friends, Cyndi Bailey and Michelle Rayner; and her three grandsons, Adrian, Jake, and Dylan Dargis. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Beatrice and Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dan; her siblings, Michael (Judith) Cosellin; her special friend, June Bailey; and her dogs, Spike and Max.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11th at the Martinson Funeral Home in Suttons Bay. A time for sharing memories will begin at 1:00 p.m.
