Victor J. Roubal

Vic served in the Air Force as an Air Policeman during the Korean war and later devoted his work career to the Michigan State Police for 25 years where he retired on December 31, 1991.
After retirement, he served as a Court Officer for the Leelanau County Sheriff ’s Department and as a Police Officer for the Village of Suttons Bay.
Vic is survived by his wife, Cyndee; daughters, Victoria Lewis (Michael Lewis), Leah Roubal-Hower ( Jason Dionne), Lisa Hoffman (Douglas Hoffman), Erica Kirt; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Polly Ellsworth (Bruce Ellsworth); and brother, Jerry Roubal (Beverly Roubal). He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Catherine Roubal; sister, Mary Wichert (Bill Wichert); brothers, Robert Roubal (Diana Roubal), Willard Roubal ( Joyce Slomski), Lewis Roubal (Bobbie Roubal), Henry Roubal, and Joseph Roubal.
Vic was born in Suttons Bay, Michigan on February 25,1938 to Thomas & Catherine Roubal. Although he loved hunting, fishing, boating and snowmobiling in Michigan. His love for life, warm climate, and big city lights led him and Cyndee to Nevada where they lived a portion of the year and came back to Michigan for the summer months to his hometown of Suttons Bay.
In loving memory of Vic, funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Kensington Church, 6880 Secor Rd., Traverse City, Michigan.
