He was 57 years old. He was born in Northville, Michigan and spent his life in Michigan and Arizona. It was in Arizona that he met his wife, Shannon, started a family and moved back to Michigan to help his mother take care of the family home after his father died. He was the youngest of eight siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon, his son Angus 13 and daughter Kelly 23, his step children, Jake, Logan and Lexi, his step grandchildren Olivia and Wyatt Buffalo, his sisters, Burdette and her partner Steve, Adrienne and her husband Craig, Michelle and her husband Ken, Aimee and her husband David, his sister in law Meilyn, his brother Sean, his nieces, Melina, Rachel, Alameda, Alyssa and his nephews, Oliver, Adrian, Levi, Alex, Ellington and Sammy. He was a well loved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend.

He was predeceased by his oldest sister, Suzanne Marie Chapman Williams 1982, his father, Robert Adrian Chapman 2012, his brother, Timothy Chapman 2017 and his mother, Burdette Chapman 2020.

Peter had a passion for movement; to climb mountains, rocks, jump off dunes, swim, ski, surf in big waves and skateboard. He cherished wildness and play. He loved his vocation as an audio engineer and was a part of a tight community that worked together often in all parts of the country.

Peter was also devoted to his family and loved spending time with them. His work took him all around the country and when he was in a place where he had friends or family, he connected and spent time with them.

His close family and friends gathered to remember him immediately after his death. We will celebrate his life on his birthday, June 27 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on his land at 6132 Good Harbor Trail in Cedar Michigan, 49621.
