Pete grew up in Mount Lookout and attended Kilgour School, Walnut Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati. He studied engineering at the University of Cincinnati and earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. After working briefly at Kroger, he joined the Young & Bertke Co. where he remained for his entire professional career.

He enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends in Michigan. A proud and loving grandfather, Pete’s greatest joy was watching his granddaughters grow up, graduate from college and establish successful independent lives. All will remember Pete for his sense of humor and mischievous grin.
