Raymond Derek Sullivan
Raymond was born in London England on July 7, 1935, before moving with his family to the US four years later. He grew up in Toledo Ohio with his Parents James & Winifred (Trevis) Sullivan and graduated from Macomber Vocational High School in 1953. Upon graduation he worked at Libby Owens Ford glass company in Toledo for 30 years, which included service in the Army and retired in 1983.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Therese Ann Sullivan who passed away on April 17, 2019, and his son Michael Raymond on March 20, 2008. Raymond is survived by his Son Randy and daughter-in-law Veronica, his 4 grandchildren, Brandi, Dustin, Jesse and Joshua and his 10 great grandchildren, Skye, Chloe, Dustin, Julia, Isabella, Asher, Irra, Raymond, Baylor, Brixxton, and very dear friend Kay Fox.
Raymond was an avid outdoorsman who liked waterfowl hunting, fishing, swimming, camping, traveling, tennis and running.
Raymond owned a home in Empire MI for over 30 years where he spent each summer enjoying its beauty.
There will be a Committal Service on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the St. Philip Neri church cemetery in Empire MI, where he will be buried next to his Wife Therese. A celebration of life will immediately follow the service at the Lions Club Pavilion there in Empire MI.
