Ann Estelle LaBonte
Ann Estelle LaBonte

Daughter of Emory and Celia (Belanger) LaBonte.
She was a good artist, teacher and musician. She played the piano, guitar and accordion. Ann loved to sing, dance and play musical instruments.
When we were making fish boxes, she would pound a “6 penny nail” in two strokes. Ann was a good teacher - she taught us younger siblings our numbers and letters before we started school. She was a flamboyant dresser and loved to go to second hand stores and also collect antiques.
Ann worked at Burwood Products for several years. Mostly she did housekeeping in private homes.
She married Clay Oxley in 1969. They had two children, Renee Fisher and Allan Oxley Brown. Renee has a son, Salem, and Allan has a son.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, brothers Dave and Sam and sister Lucie Burkhardt. In-laws Don Dunklow, Jerry Burkhardt, Len Darga, Gary Neddo and Laura Porterfield. She will be greatly missed by us all. Ann is survived by Renee LaBonte, Kathy Darga, Martha Neddo, Jake LaBonte, Mary Jo and Dan Darga, Caroline and Norm DuRocher and Joe and Ann LaBonte.
