Terrance P. Weber

CEDAR – Terrance Peter Weber, 71, of Cedar, passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Munson Medical Center with his Family at his side.
Terry was born September 11, 1955 in Dearborn the son of Thomas Sr. and Iva (Renehan) Weber. He attended Holy Rosary Elementary school and graduated from Richmond Highschool, MI with the class of 1974.
Growing up Terry was the ring leader for the Trio of Brothers: Terry, Brian and Chris that their dad would affectionally call the “Cobbers”. Terry was a spirited and adventurous kid who seemed determined to make every day memorable. He spent countless hours climbing trees, often venturing so high that bending branches would send him “parachuting” back to the ground. He loved cutting trees and once proudly outperformed a cousin by “cutting down” a tree with his bare hands. Summers were filled with countless swimming adventures and playing “King of the Castle” down at Tobias.
Fishing was another favorite pastime, though he had a special talent for tangling fishing lines and occasionally hooking himself, his siblings, or just about anything nearby. Whether picking cherry fights in the orchard, racing through life a little too fast, wrecking cars, or finding a way to wake the entire household before sunrise, Terry approached everything with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Yet for all his mischief, he was also the first to call it a day, often asking his older brothers to lie down with him before he drifted off to sleep. These childhood adventures became the stories and memories that family and friends would laugh about for generations.
A master finish carpenter, Terry possessed a remarkable gift for visualizing complex angles and measurements in his head, allowing him to create beautiful craftsmanship that reflected both skill and precision. His understanding of angles extended beyond his workbench and onto the billiards (pool) table, where he became known for making seemingly impossible shots. After pulling off one of these memorable shots, he would proudly declare himself “Super Weber!” Family members, however, knew him by another heroic title: “Uncle Supe.”
Of all the titles he held in life, “Grandpa” was one he looked forward to the most. Terry had a special gift for making people smile, especially children. His playful spirit and quick sense of humor drew people in wherever he went. One of his favorite talents was his remarkable turkey gobble, which he could perform with nothing more than his natural voice. It was so authentic that many would stop and swear a real turkey was nearby. Whether sharing a laugh, telling a story, or entertaining his grandchildren with his unforgettable impressions, Terry created cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
While his Catholic faith was always the foundation of his life, in later years he embraced a special calling as an evangelist, tirelessly encouraging others to deepen their relationship with Christ and become active members of the Church. As a proud member of The Legion of Mary at Holy Rosary Church, he demonstrated unwavering devotion to the Blessed Mother and a heartfelt commitment to serving his parish community. His legacy of faith, compassion, and spiritual guidance will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
Terry lived life with energy, humor, and an unwavering positive spirit, best summed up by the phrase he so often shared with family and friends: “It will all be OK” Terry is survived by his children, Brandon (Tracy) Weber, Elizabeth (Ryan) Fitzpatrick; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Oliver and Lily Weber and Beckett and Ivy Fitzpatrick; his siblings, Tom Weber Jr., Tim (Teri) Weber, Brian (Jan) Weber, Chris (Lynn) Weber, Trudy (Gary) Galla, Trina (Dale) Pleva, Randy (Yvonne) Weber and Bridget Weber; special friends, John Hitt and Phil Nachazel; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas P. Weber Sr. and Iva Helen (Renehan) Weber.
