Cedar – Virginia DiFilippo Unwin, 66, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at her home.

Virginia was born February 3, 1960 in Mount Clemens, MI the daughter of Mario and Maria (Fontana) DiFilippo. Ginny married her husband, Bruce on April 6, 2008, in the comfort and privacy of their home. Their marriage was a cherished part of his life, and together they shared many wonderful years and memories.

She was caring and was an excellent cook ~ anything with garlic. Ginny had a love for her four cats and was a cat mom. She was a legal secretary for many years in the Mt. Clemons area. She and Bruce traveled across the U.S. and Treasure Island.

Ginny is survived by her siblings, JoAnn DiFlippo, Thomas DiFilippo, Jeannette ( Jeffrey) Miller and special friends Kayla LaBonte, Sawyer Stachnik, Sue (Jim) Banner, Judy Wes and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bruce; a sister Elizabeth Mill. Cremation has taken place and private family services have been held.
