‘Support our police’

To the editor:

Our men and women in blue have had an uprising battle these past few years. The risk for them has risen far beyond what anyone could have imagined. The increase in fentanyl deaths, human trafficking, gang activity and terrorism is like never before in the history of our Country. Our Sheriff who was invited to attend a boots on the ground meeting by a President is an honor. Giving input as to what is going on in Leelanau to the Police Officers Assoc. was his job. There has never been a time to support our local police more than now!
