Leelanau and Benzie commissioners are not being asked for an increase in funding appropriations for 2024.
The Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department Board adopted the 2024 spending plan at their Sept. 27 meeting.
The budget, which will be in effect Oct. 1 through Sept. 30, 2024, calls for $6.4 million in revenue, down about 4.9% from in 2023.
