Glen Lake baseball found it's groove on the artificial turf of the Traverse City Pitspitters at Turtle Creek Stadium on Saturday with a pair of wins over Suttons Bay and Harbor Spring. In the morning game, Glen Lake took on rival Suttons Bay and won 8-2 behind a 13-strikeout performance by senior Cooper Bufalini.

Glen Lake junior Michael Houtteman proved he is one of the prep golfers on the high school circuit as he finished first in a field of 216 golfers at the TCC Golf Invitational hosted by Crystal Mountain on Friday and Saturday.

Glen Lake softball split a pair of series against Marion and T-C Christian over the past week. After a high scoring 28-18 game one against Marion; Glen Lake rebounded in a nail-biting 8-7 win in game two.

The first track meet of the season was held Tuesday, April 16 after moving up the meet from yesterday as heavy storms rolled through Leelanau County. Nevertheless, Glen Lake hosted Benzie and Leland in a Northwest Conference track opener.
