Incoming freshmen at Leland Public School will have to earn 32 credits to graduate.
The Leland Board of Education voted Monday night to increase the number of credits required to graduate.
Currently, Leland students are required to earn 27 credits to receive a diploma. By the time incoming freshmen complete four years of instruction, they will be required to earn 32 credits to graduate.
