Youth Art Exhibit
St. Mary School art students, under the direction of faculty member Deb Shutt, will participate in the annual Youth Art Exhibition at Crooked Tree Arts Center in Traverse City. This juried show celebrates the work of K-12 art students and educators from throughout the Grand Traverse region. More than 35 schools will be participating in this event and the Crooked Tree Arts center will award $50-$100 cash prizes. The event runs from March 5th – April 5th. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 11-5 and Saturday 10-4. The gallery will be closed March 25-29 for spring break. 03/06/2024 05:30 PM

It’s been about three years since the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) – Biden’s COVID-19 stimulus package – was signed into law, and spending deadlines are approaching. A Facebook page called “Michiganders Against the Twin Flames Church of Union” has garnered over 400 followers since it was first created less than two weeks ago. An up and coming small company based in Leelanau County launched their first products just this past month: Quince hot sauce and quince ketchup.
