Both parties have dissension among ranks
There’s no way to quantify this, but suffice it to say reams and reams of column inches have been gobbled up as reporters chronicle the continuing dramatic soap opera within the state Republican Party now in its second year concerning who is the legit party chair. 02/21/2024 04:57 PM

To the editor: What happens to a country who’s government does not embrace its immigration law? Illegal entry to a country is intrusion and insults those who have come to America legally. People are coming from many places to escape corruption and wrong treatment and some to purposely do harm. 02/21/2024 04:57 PM

Your call
To the editor: Representative Bergman, I know my memos go into your “dead” file but as a constituent, I need to post one again. Congress has taken a two week recess and when it returns, it has only 3 days before a potential government shutdown. 02/21/2024 04:57 PM

On immigration
To the editor: OK, let me speak to the truth and confront the ignorance of the foreign owned Fox “news” network. I have significant knowledge of this issue as my brother, who passed away Memorial Day, was from the beginning of the 1980s to the year 2000 and Director of the Department of Immigration Litigation in the Civil Division of the Department of Justice. 02/21/2024 04:57 PM
He’ll never say…
He’ll never say…
To the editor: Yes, Biden will forget Jill’s birthday, but he’ll remember that the wealth of the top 1% of our country’s citizens is greater than the lower 90%. He’ll forget the date Apollo 11 landed on the moon, but he’ll remember that one nation is not allowed to take over another by force or else the doors to naked aggression will be thrown open and those of peaceful world order will be closed. 02/21/2024 04:57 PM
Electric edict
Electric edict
To the editor: Recent news indicates that Governor Whitmer has passed her edict requiring only electric cars in the near future. That’s an excellent way to clear the atmosphere, but I would go along with it only if she gets another bill passed requiring all aircraft taking off or landing on Michigan soil to have electric engines. 02/21/2024 04:57 PM
