The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a millage request for its senior services department, which will appear on the Michigan 2024 primary election ballot in August. A huge thank you to Culver Meadows on their compassionate care of her these past several years, the doctors and nurses at NPalliative, Hospice of Michigan, Reverand Michael Class, Deacon Martin Korson, the Parish of St. Wenceslaus, the Altar Society of St. Wenceslaus for the delicious funeral luncheon and Martinson’s Funeral Home for their professionalism and kindness to our family during our time of loss. We would also like to thank all family, friends and neighbors who traveled near and far to be with us and all who volunteered at her visitation and/or funeral service.
