A $642,550 construction project on portions of County Road 641 will get underway this spring following action this week by the Leelanau County Road Commission.
At its regular twice-monthly meeting Tuesday afternoon, members of the Road Commission voted 5-0 to approve a $34,409 contract with the Traverse City engineering firm Prein & Newhof to oversee the project, slated to begin May 16.
