The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Susan Och, Treasurer Shirley Garthe, Clerk Lisa Brookfield, Trustees Mariann Kirch and Clint Mitchell, and 32 guests present. The amended agenda and minutes were approved. The Treasurer’s Report was approved. The following board actions were taken:
• Lake Leelanau Lake Association request to install boat wash station at Suelzer Park was granted.
• Expense to hire moving company not to exceed $5,000 was approved.
• Dan Korson was reappointed to serve on the Planning Commission (term 6/1/23-12/31/23).
• A Special Assessment District for Road Repair & Maintenance was adopted.
• Bills & accounts were approved for payment.
Board comment and public comment were heard. Meeting adjourned at 10:03 PM. Minutes are on file at the Leland Township Office, 123 N. St. Joseph St., Lake Leelanau, and on the township Web site at www.leelanau.cc/lelandtwp.asp.
