To the editor: Leland Township Supervisor Susan Och publicly stated in 2020 after her reelection she would not run for a third term in 2024. The Leelanau Historical Society has won the State History Award in the media category for their documentary film “Lake Leelanau, Spirit of the Lake.” This award, given by the Historical Society of Michigan, recognizes outstanding achievements in the appreciation and understanding of Michigan history. “We are very honored to be recognized for our hard work on this amazing film,” said Kim Kelderhouse, executive director of the Leelanau Historical Society. 09/12/2024 06:28 AM
