‘Discover Fishing’ event set for June 1
Discovery Pier just celebrated the completion of its first phrase of improvements including new perimeter pathways, paved parking, fishing area railing, shade structure, and event pavilion. Discovery Center & Pier will host its second annual Discover Fishing at the Pier program Friday, June 1.

Frequent winners in the Lake Leelanau Narrows Resort walleye tournament did it again. Cal Stier and Greg Alsip took home the top prize money, although this time it was close.

Lake Shore Drive closed for project
