Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department, alongside the Northern Michigan Public Health Alliance, would like to remind residents the importance of good nutrition in promoting the health and well-being of current and future generations of Americans. The Old Indian Trail and surrounding area in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (SBDNL) is closed due to invasive hemlock woolly adelgid. The Leelanau County Road Commission is getting ready to strengthen the bridge on County Road 651 over Victoria Creek, just north of Cedar.
