The owners of what could arguably be the most lavish home in northern Michigan have had their property tax appeal turned down by the Leland Township Board of Review. The Leland Board of Review voted unanimously Tuesday to turn down a petition from Celebration Life Trust of its 2019 tax assessment. *** The Loon Ranger rides again! In fact, he’ll probably begin riding on a pontoon boat as soon as the ice thaws on Cedar Lake in Elmwood Township this spring. Kristen Wilson at Leelanau Love Tennis programs is welcoming middle school students of all skills levels to join at Herman Park in Suttons Bay on March 16, 21, 23, and 28 for tennis lesson of all skill levels from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This session is also open to fifth graders who have participated in at least one session of after school tennis or summer tennis.
