Rosemary (“Rose”) Ralls, of Glen Arbor, Michigan, died peacefully on October 1, 2024, at her second home in Rio Verde, Arizona. Many of the family’s most cherished memories of Rose are the fun and hijinks they had with her climbing the Sleeping Bear Dunes, lighting sparklers on the 4th of July, watching sunsets over Lake Michigan, and eating cheeseburgers and ice cream in Leelanau County. A memorial service to celebrate Rose’s life will be held at 10:30 am on November 16, 2024, at Okemos Community Church, 4734 Okemos Road, Okemos, Michigan. 10/30/2024 05:31 PM

Support for Tim O’Non
To the editor: I attended last Thursday’s Leelanau League of Women Voter’s candidate forum. After hearing the candidates, it became indubitably obvious to the most casual observer that Tim O’Non is the only qualified candidate for drain commissioner. 10/23/2024 06:26 PM
