Specific locations for two new historical and cultural markers conveying Anishinaabe histories and teachings were approved to be installed in late May or June by Leelanau Township at its regular board meeting this month. Leelanau County’s current administrator, Deb Allen, is set to set down in about two weeks on April 12, leaving the county without its most important nonelected official until a new administrator/ chief financial officer (CFO) is hired. Voter ignorance vs. electorate enlightenment
When candidates, campaign managers and political consultants say their prayers at night they most likely ask that Michigan voters continue to be ignorant. That’s because an illinformed citizen is easy to exploit for political gain.
