Are you one of them?
Everybody knows somebody who is a self-described Democrat or Republican, but how many folks go around boosting that they are an Independent usually described as a voter who plunks for the person and not automatically for an R or a D just because they are thus. 03/13/2024 11:46 PM
Do they care?
Do they care?
To the editor: The GOP response to President Biden’s State of the Union address was a vapid, emotionally overacted, Sally Struthers-like performance completely devoid of content. That party putting their chosen representative, a woman, in a kitchen says everything we need to know about their wished for reversion to an imagined golden past. 03/13/2024 11:46 PM

Another letter pointed out— correctly— that although solar panel output is reduced by cloud cover here, installations eventually pay back more than they cost. 03/13/2024 11:46 PM
Reproductive health
Reproductive health
To the editor: Voters need to know that Republicans intend to undermine all aspects of women’s reproductive rights, all of which a majority of Americans strongly approve. For example, the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) decision by the Alabama Supreme Court making embryos created through the IVF process “Persons”, landed like a lead balloon. 03/13/2024 11:46 PM
Appalled by intolerance
Appalled by intolerance
To the editor: In a letter published in the Enterprise, county board member Kama Ross laments that she is “continually disheartened by public comment … and letters to the editor from county residents who do not check their facts before sharing their views.” She was elected. I am appalled at her lack of tolerance for opinions that disagree with hers. 03/13/2024 11:46 PM
