Died May 3, 2024 CEDAR- Neal Edward Neese, 88, of Cedar, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, surrounded by his family at his home. Neal was born on February 16, 1936, on the Neese farm in Lapel, Indiana, to Lloyd and Velma (Bulen) Neese.

1942~ 2024 Mary Sharry, age 81, of Empire, Michigan, passed away surrounded by her family at her home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, after a well-fought battle with cancer. Mary was born on December 1, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio.

Mary Ann Arvo (88) of Suttons Bay passed away on May 11, 2024. She was born on December 7, 1935 in Alston, Michigan to her parents Waino and Aune Pirhonen.

Judith Lynne Leece (née Perry), 86, of Northport, passed away on December 18, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 3 p.m. at the Leelanau Township Cemetery in Northport. Arrangements are with the Martinson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Leelanau.

Andrew Michael “Andy” DeNoyer was born on July 26, 1957, in Traverse City, Michigan, to James and Lucy (Knight) DeNoyer. He passed away on April 1,2024, at age 66 in Dayton, Ohio, at Miami Valley Hospital after a long illness.

1932 ~ 2024 Barbara passed on to the arms of angels May 9, 2024, following what she described as a great life with family, friends, her work, sailing and travel, interrupted by Multiple Myeloma. She passed peacefully in her home in Hilton Head Island, SC, without pain, after a one-week decline.

Ralph P. Cordes, 80, of Lake Leelanau, died March 19, 2024. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 17 at 11 a.m. with the family greeting friends at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Lake Leelanau. Burial will follow the service in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Martinson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Leelanau

CEDAR - Joanne Fay Popa, 91, of Cedar, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side. Joanne was born on June 28, 1932, in Traverse City to Frank and Helen (Korb) Garvin.

SUTTONS BAY – Mary Anne Schlee, 94, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Medilodge of Leelanau. Mary Anne was born December 20, 1929 in Detroit the daughter of Alfred and Lucille (Peterson) Stryker.
