Board OKs Leland dam repair bid
Leelanau County has contracted the Leland-based Easling Construction Company to repair the walkway over the Leland Dam, which was deteriorating, according to dam authority Chairman Steven Christensen. Some Bingham Township residents may have seen smoke billowing up over Shady Lane at various times in the last week.
