To the editor: An adage goes, “there is nothing so powerful as an idea whose time has come.” Well, the idea of full green energy has not yet come and won’t for quite a while. To the editor: One of the encouraging signs in local politics is the progress made by the bipartisan Leelanau County Commission over the past year and a half. To the editor: As long time neighbors of the Leelanau Conservancy’s expanding Palmer Woods mountain bike recreation area, we have felt the impacts of increasing high-speed traffic through our rural neighborhood.
