Mary Angeline(Hansen) Moore, 91, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024. Mary was born September 16, 1932 in Muskegon, Michigan to Alfred and Rose(Minkel) Hansen. Mary was a devoted Catholic with unwavering faith. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church and Saint Francis Church; where she was a Eucharistic minister. Mary was proud to have earned her Associates Degree from Northwestern Michigan College. She had many jobs throughout her life, including the Coast Guard PX, Peninsula Asphalt and Kellogg Wholesale. She also worked weekends at the Tanz Haus as a bartender from 1972 until it closed in 1987. A woman of many talents, Mary was a member of the Sweet Adeline’s Chorus and award winning barbershop quartets. Mary loved all sports whether professional or college. Her favorite professional team was the Detroit Red Wings and she had a large collection of memorabilia. Her very favorite sporting events were whatever her 6 grandchildren were playing in any given season. She attended countless games locally and on the road. Mary was very proud of her grandchildren’s many accomplishments in life. Mary’s life is a testament to her strong spirit, dedication and zest for life. She will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Mary is survived by her daughters 1932 ~ 2024 06/19/2024 04:23 PM
