Fire millage requests in 4 townships approved
Fire millage requests on the ballot in four townships, Centerville, Cleveland, Kasson, and Solon, were approved Tuesday night as more than 9,000 voters made their way to the polls to show overwhelming support for continued services. All townships are members of Cedar Area Fire and Rescue (CAFR), each determining the method of fiscally supporting the four-township department. 08/08/2024 06:09 AM

V Gallery in Omena held its opening show for its first group exhibition, “Night of Nudes,” last Friday evening featuring 24 artists’ original work on display until Sunday, August 11. Julian edges Noonan in Kasson
Close elections were plentiful Tuesday night as dozens of primaries for various township positions were up in the air.
