Shady Lane Cellars awarded $11,000 grant

Suttons Bay-based estate winery and vineyard, Shady Lane Cellars, recently earned a competitive, national farming grant from the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education, or SARE. A 23-year-old Grand Rapids contractor man has been charged with felonies after allegedly taking funds for work expected to be completed in Leelanau County.
