S-B BOE to continue pursuing fitness court process
Suttons Bay Public School Board of Education (BOE) members voted unanimously 6-0 to approve a letter of intent for an outdoor fitness court at its May 13 regular meeting. The outdoor fitness center would be funded by a $40,000 2024 Priority Health Campaign grant, something the district applied for and received with help from Title VI mentor and coach Shan Bowens throughout the process. 05/29/2024 05:59 PM

It was kind of tough celebrating Memorial Day this year. The weather at this time year is always a crap shoot and this year it was wet and gloomy. However, I’m sure everyone had a good time with company and many, many people up here now getting ready for the summer. There’s an old rock ballad proclaiming that “two out of three ain’t bad,” but Glen Lake junior Alex Eaton easily topped that mark.
