To the editor: District 3! We cannot forget the reason we recalled Will Bunek in 2021! Remember his appalling (9/14/21) public statement while attempting to overturn a voter approved millage? Here it is: “So, we’re here when things are wrong, when the people make a wrong decision, we’re here to make sure that does not go on” Commissioner Allgaier questioned. “So you just said that if a vote, a public vote is taken, and we think it is wrong, it’s our job as a constitutional republic to nullify it?” Commissioner Bunek replied, “Yes, that is exactly right.” We cannot go back!
