Correction:
A story that appeared in the Sept. 12 issue of the Enterprise needs correcting. The Leelanau Community Cultural Center/ Old Art Building recently launched a capital campaign to purchase and expand the programming of the OAB. The “cultural campus” mentioned is an informal term used by neighboring organizations.

Men injured in crashes
Two men with roots in Cedar were seriously injured in separate accidents in a three-week period. One of the men died and the second is fighting for his life at Munson Medical Center.

Popa passes after accident

Aging update details activities
Earlier this summer, Leelanau County Senior Services delivered its yearly “aging update” to the county board of commissioners. The presentation was led by senior services Director Lena Vander Meulen for the first time. She replaced the previous director, April Missias, in July 2023.
