The Old Art Building in Leland will host a film screening of “North Country Opera: Recorded Live at the Ark,” as part of a six-stop tour throughout Michigan Sunday. ‘Lessons in Chemistry’ a sweet stop in Maple City

Just past Market 22 off East Harbor Highway in Maple City, people can find Brittany Watson’s farmstand stocked with homemade, delicious mini cakes. Watson said she and her family originally began selling just eggs at the stand and expanded into offering sweets this summer. Taylor enhances Cedar community

Mary Taylor of Lake Leelanau started her eighth year of teaching tai chi to Leelanau County residents at Solon Township Hall Monday. Woodland Herb Farm “a labor of love”

Operating the small but charming Woodland Herb Farm and Twisted Whiskers shop for more than 40 years now has always been a labor of love for owner Pat Bourdo. The shop was once a garage on the property and transformed into a storefront in 1977.
