Jan L. Tennant passed August 31, 2024 at age 73 at home in Benzie County (Platte Twp) with family and friends. Surviving Jan is her husband, Richard L. Cooper of Honor, MI, two stepdaughters Christine and Heidi Cooper of Reno NV, three siblings Ray Tennant, Eva Ellis and Sue Tennant all of Boise ID, and hundreds of friends from all over the world. Cremation services were handled by Cremation Services North. Donations can be made in memory of Jan to The Leelanau Land Conservancy or The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy.
