NAA looks to hire executive director
The Northport Arts Association (NAA) is looking for an executive director to lead its growing organization, programs, and events starting next year. NAA announced it was accepting candidate applications for the full-time position on December 17, but Linda Gits, NAA treasurer, said it’s been in their annual report plans since last year to eventually hire a director by 2024 to provide effective and creative leadership moving forward. 12/27/2023 04:58 PM

Every high school coaches’ hope is to instill a love of the game of volleyball, according to Leland coach Laurie Glass. “Whether it’s informally playing in your backyard, later in life, joining a co-ed team, doing beach volleyball or playing at the collegiate level (the hope) is just continuing that love of the game and keeping it in your life,” Glass said. 12/27/2023 04:58 PM
