Vote for Bahle
Vote for Bahle
To the editor: I was there in 2021 when the Board voted along party lines, without a plan or cost consideration, to reorganize Finance/ HR, and to begin meetings with Christianprayer. And,when the Chair proposed a Right to Life Resolution. 10/16/2024 08:25 PM

To the editor: It’s clear to me that Will Bunek does not intend to play well with others. He criticized the League for not starting its Forum with a prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. 10/16/2024 08:25 PM

Ross committed
Ross committed
To the editor: As a former County Commissioner, there was no question in my mind that Kama Ross would make an exceptional County Commissioner when I encouraged her to run for District 5—and she has exceeded my expectations. What I didn’t know was how incredibly responsive she would be helping so many individuals find solutions to their problems. 10/16/2024 08:25 PM

Don’t trust liars
Don’t trust liars
To the editor: In a recent forum, the Republican was asked about the integrity of our election process. He expressed trust and confidence in our local officials … but did not trust the machines. 10/16/2024 08:25 PM
Choose wisely
Choose wisely
To the editor: When I look at candidates for local office, I look at two criteria that are more important to me than whether they are a Democrat or a Republican: Do they have a history of local involvement as a volunteer trying to help the community? Do they have a work history or educational background that prepares them for community service? Look at the resumes of the candidates — have they done meaningful work to help the community already? Do they have a work history that shows their commitment to public welfare? Choose wisely. Rick Gans Northport. 10/16/2024 08:25 PM
Responsible Republicans?
Responsible Republicans?
To the editor: The Enterprise reported that the county spent $600,000 to create two new departments. On May 11, 2021 Republicans , with 20 minutes of discussion, approved creating these departments with no stated justification orcostestimate. 10/16/2024 08:25 PM
