Explanation sought
To the editor: I call on our county Prosecutor Hubbell and Judge Hamlyn to offer a written explanation as to why they decided as they did, concerning the tragic loss of Evelyn Kellogg. Arriving at drunk driving causing injury is a far cry from the reality of death, wouldn’t you agree? Bradley Price Northport.

Drugs and addiction
To the editor: We watch what addictive substance is doing to people, from vaping to experimentation with many street drugs that are euphoriants producing a fleeting euphoria armed with addiction. All I Want for Christmas
To the editor: All I Want for Christmas from our House of Representatives is preserving voting rights, funding our allies, protecting women’s healthcare and reproductive rights, combatting the climate crisis, tackling immigration reform, expanding healthcare benefits, lowering medication costs, supporting public education, stopping book banning, continuing to build a strong, fair economy, banning the sale of assault weapons, and strengthening our democracy. Unfortunately the Republicanled House is giving our citizens a lump of coal with more chaos and inactivity.

The EMTs acted very professionally and courteously.

Rental issue resolved?
To the editor: As we approach winter in Cherry Home Shores, we reflect on how peaceful the summers have become after the board took action to shut down predatory vacation rentals. We achieved an uneasy peace against commercial interests.

Wait a while
To the editor: An adage goes, “there is nothing so powerful as an idea whose time has come.” Well, the idea of full green energy has not yet come and won’t for quite a while. But hey, I’m all for it and when you can offer me an affordable non-Chinese-made sedan with a small and SAFE 10-year battery which will go 600 miles at 75 mph and recharges in 30 minutes for $20 I’ll buy one.

Bill precedent-setting
To the editor: In the Nov. 23rd edition of the Enterprise, we were able to see two contrasting examples of how citizens have the opportunity to impact our community.
