‘Blame … isn’t leadership’
To the editor: Democrats took control of the Leelanau County Board with promises to fix the so-called mess left by Republicans, yet taxpayers are still waiting for results. Chairman Ty Wessell has had almost three years to lead and find solutions but has only delivered higher costs.

To the editor: Rick Robbins—the architect of the disastrous Finance Department separation—has cost taxpayers over $800,000. Robbins, who was ousted two years ago, is running again as a Democrat, and if he returns, it will be a disaster for Leelanau County taxpayers.
