Npt School kids participate in NASA Artemis Challenge
Six Northport Public School students are embarking on a stellar project focused on space exploration of the moon that could earn them a trip to the Kennedy Space Center later this year. The North American Vasa Board of Directors is seeking candidates for Race Director for the North American Vasa Festival of Races, held annually during the second weekend of February (see www.Vasa.org). This position is part-time and most of the work is done in the winter months. The Race Director is responsible for working with the Board of Directors to plan and implement a high quality event for competitors, volunteers, spectators and sponsors. Two Suttons Bay Public High School students are finalists of the six announced in the 13th annual Young Playwright Festival competition.
