Emily Lingaur comes from a family not only rich in history, but also traditions that she now passes down to her daughter, Astrid. The Leland Township Library has been awarded a $25,000 Thriving Communities grant from Rotary Charities for its upcoming expansion and renovation project. A county organization is one of seven regional entities awarded a year-end grant from the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation. In a groundbreaking move, Glen Lake students are ensuring that people stay warm through a coat drive “Layer Up Lakers” organized by the Glen Lake Interact Club. “There’s so many families that are in need during these cold times that probably aren’t able to provide their kids with all of the warm clothing needed,” Glen Lake senior Ella Flores said. 12/20/2023 09:57 PM

The Glen Lake cooperative ski team is back for another year, ready to race down the hill and compete throughout 2024.
