Downtown Northport bathroom project approved
Residents and visitors in the village of Northport will soon have a new portable public restroom option to utilize in the downtown area starting as soon as this month. The Leelanau County Road Commission this week heeded the call of constituents who urged them to “litigate, don’t mediate” a dispute over Lake Michigan shoreline access at the end of Reynolds Street in Leland. The Road Commission voted 3-0 Monday evening “to continue with a litigation strategy as recommended by our attorney and discussed during our closed session regarding the Reynolds Street legal proceedings.” 07/17/2024 05:06 PM
