The Leelanau County Road Commission this week heeded the call of constituents who urged them to “litigate, don’t mediate” a dispute over Lake Michigan shoreline access at the end of Reynolds Street in Leland. Residents and visitors in the village of Northport will soon have a new portable public restroom option to utilize in the downtown area starting as soon as this month.
