To the editor: Great coverage of the Leelanau Energy Members Picnic and gathering “to celebrate successes and plan for the year ahead.” Some recall the December 2022 failure of a Leelanau Community Energy group’s past project when Northport’s wind turbine fell down. To the editor: I laughed out loud when I read the letter in last week’s Leelanau Enterprise suggesting people who support the LGBTQ+, transgender, and other “human beings” who are on a different path than are others in this world, do not having “critical thinking skills”, otherwise they would realize that by supporting these “God given” pathways for these individual lives, they are somehow weakening humanity.
