V Gallery in Omena held its opening show for its first group exhibition, “Night of Nudes,” last Friday evening featuring 24 artists’ original work on display until Sunday, August 11. Fire millage requests in 4 townships approved
Fire millage requests on the ballot in four townships, Centerville, Cleveland, Kasson, and Solon, were approved Tuesday night as more than 9,000 voters made their way to the polls to show overwhelming support for continued services. The just-built communications tower at the county government center remains devoid of antennas, but emergency management director Matt Ansorge expects that to change.
